Description
HAMMER Construction 2 Thermal 5G is a rugged smartphone designed for demanding work and everyday use. The device combines a professional thermal imaging camera, an integrated laser rangefinder, a comprehensive HAMMER Toolbox app, and robust construction certified to IP69 and MIL‑STD‑810H. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, Android 14 and up to 16 GB of RAM, it supports 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC and eSIM, while a 6.58″ display with Gorilla Glass 5 and a 6500 mAh battery provide long-lasting, reliable operation.
Advantages
The phone offers professional thermal imaging (HeatView sensor) that detects temperatures from -10 °C to 550 °C and covers distances up to 1,000 m, a precise laser rangefinder with up to 50 m range, and a multifunctional toolbox app with measuring instruments. Its reinforced design resists water, dust, impacts and extreme temperatures. The main 108 MP camera with AI support and a 32 MP front camera meet photography and video call needs, while an 8 MP night vision camera enables recording in total darkness. Fast charging (33 W), wireless charging (15 W) and a powerbank function enhance usability on site.

How to use
Operate the HAMMER Construction 2 Thermal 5G as a daily smartphone and a jobsite tool. Launch the HAMMER Toolbox app to access the laser rangefinder, spirit level, noise meter, protractor and other measuring tools. Use the dedicated thermal imaging app to view and analyse temperature maps from the HeatView sensor; the app displays temperature distribution and allows detection of insulation faults, moisture, overheated components and leaks. The phone can be used with gloves, and face unlock or fingerprint sensor provide quick secure access. Charge via USB‑C, use wireless charging when convenient, or share battery power with other devices using reverse charging.
Recommendations
For accurate thermal measurements, allow the device to stabilise at ambient temperature before use and calibrate settings in the thermal app as needed. For reliable laser rangefinder results, ensure a clear line of sight to the target and avoid reflective surfaces. Use a protective case or belt holster for prolonged field use; regularly back up photos and measurement data to external storage or cloud to prevent data loss.
